New Era of Virtual Education

The American International Cyber Institute (AICI) is certified women and minority owned online virtual education and training organization delivering high quality programs for students and Educational Technology Consulting Services, Customized Consulting for Government Entities, Schools, Organizations, & Companies. Under our umbrella we are comprised of The City School of Detroit, The Cyber Education Center, The International School and The American International Cyber Schools. We believe that we must continue to change and provide exciting new programs that allow our students to excel in today’s society and be prepared for the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Charter School Management

We have experience in supporting every aspect of Charter Schools. Since 2016 we have managed Curriculum Development, Human Resources, Budgets, Pupil Accounting, Grants, School Development and Operations, Business Operations, Compliance and Oversight, Marketing and Recruitment, Food Services, Branding, and Technology Support.

We have the City School of Detroit, The Cyber Education Center, The International School and the American International Cyber Schools

Virtual Capabilities

We also offer a remote component. We provide students an opportunity to earn an education virtually. We have served students in Tanzania. Additionally, we are approved to provide students in Nigeria an American high school diploma through the Minister of Education.

Our first cohort of students graduated in Nigeria in 2022 with their United States high school diploma.

Our Mission

American International Cyber Institute (AICI) is a certified minority business enterprise and women owned business that provides- in conjunction with its school partners- local, statewide, national, and international virtual and cyber education programs that are K-12 and American U.S. High School Diploma equivalent for young students who seek an innovative approach to education and adults who did not complete their traditional high school education. Our programs also apply to individuals currently enrolled in Secondary programs internationally.

Our Impact

We believe that in our increasingly global environment, the quality of success will be determined by a student's ability to understand and communicate with people from different cultures. The American International Cyber Institute is proud to acknowledge that our student body consists of students from around the world. Looking ahead to the world of tomorrow, AICI provides courses in English, Chinese, French, German and Spanish.

AICI’s virtual & cyber programs are tailored for and accommodates the thousands of international K-12 students in the United States. We serve students across the globe. We graduated our first global student in Tanzania in 2020. We graduated our first Nigeria cohort in 2022.

We have serviced students in a variety of environments. We have managed private schools, and public charter schools. We have also supported traditional Public schools. Additionally, we have provided tutoring services to several public schools.

VIRTUAL/CYBER LEARNING ENVIRONMENT-DESIGN & MANAGEMENT

The AICI virtual learning environment is a Web-based platform with digital courses of study that present resources, activities and interactions within a various course structures, trainings, and provide for different stages of assessment.
 

CURRICULUM DESIGN & INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN

AICI learner-centered curriculum design takes each individual's needs, interests, and goals into consideration. In other words, it acknowledges that students are not uniform and adjusts to those student needs. Learner-centered curriculum design is meant to empower learners and allow them to shape their education through choices.

COMPETENCY-BASED LEARNING TO SUPPORT HUMAN RESOURCES ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURES

Transitioning away from seat time, in favor of a structure that creates flexibility, allows students and employees to progress as they demonstrate mastery of academic and career based content, regardless of time, place, or pace of learning.

PROJECT & PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

The AICI performance and project management is a method for systematically evaluating employees in an organization to determine their effectiveness in carrying out their tasks and achieving the goals and mission of the company. It is not an after-the-fact evaluation, but rather an ongoing process that runs alongside operations to enhance performance.
